The SSI Advanced Open Water Diver is the third level in the SSI Continuing Education system. This rating is a combination of 24 logged dives (dives during the specialty training count) and certification in four specialties. Click on Specialty Courses for details on each individual course.
The training usually consists of one classroom session and a minimum of six open water dives. The amount of classroom time or number of dives may change depending on the specialties chosen.
Specialty Diver certification is not required for Advanced Open Water Diver Training!
