Not every dive site can be reached from the shore. At some point in your diving career, you will want to dive some of those dive sites accessable only by boat. The boat diver course will teach you proper boat etiquette, skills such as how to get on and off the boat, and common terms used on a dive boat, like port, starboard, lee, and windward.
