Jay Gundy - Owner / SSI Instructor
I’ve been scuba diving since 1994 and am currently an SSI Instructor and a PADI Master Scuba Diver. I became involved with Colorado RIver Divers in 2001 after owning and operating a business in another industry for 13 years, and I’ve been living in the Las Vegas Valley since 1976. Although I waited much too long to become a diver, I’ve made up for lost time and now work in the industry full time. I truly enjoy providing services to our clients and nothing is more rewarding than creating a satisfied customer by meeting all of his or her diving needs. I look forward to working with you now and in the future.

Joe Gormley - SSI Instructor
I became a Certified Scuba Diver in July 1996 and fell in love with the sport. After going on several Caribbean vacations I decided that I needed to take some more classes to improve my diving skills. I became an SSI Master Scuba Diver, then an SSI Dive Control Specialist, and then reached my ultimate goal of becoming an SSI Dive Instructor. Since then I have become an Advanced Dive Instructor, teaching many specialties as well as Open Water divers. I love seeing a student coming out of the water on their first dive. It reminds me of the first dive I ever did, and reminds me why I love to teach.

David Greer - SSI Instructor
I’ve been scuba diving since 1992. I am an SSI Advanced Open Water Instructor and a PADI Divemaster. I started diving because I thought it looked like fun. I’m still diving because it is. I’m an Instructor because I enjoy helping others get into diving and advance in the sport. I’ll work with your schedule.

Melody Gritz - SDI/TDI Instructor
I fell in love with diving and never looked back. I went on to leadership, first becoming a Divemaster, and then an Instructor. I became interested in the technical side of diving and decided to help bring others safely into the world of technical diving. I can instruct you from your first open water experience through your advanced courses to such technical classes as advanced nitrox, stage decompression, extended range, trimix, rebreather, and I can even help you become an instructor. Let me help you make your dreams come true.

Jon Dembo - PADI Instructor
I am a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, UHMS, CHT, EMT. I have been teaching scuba diving for nearly ten years. I keep my class size to no more than 4 students, as I feel this will give all students the best setting for any specialized learning needs. Lake Mead is a great place to fine tune your scuba skills and I look forward to blowing bubbles with you.
